The harvest is upon us, the weather is cooling down, and local festivals are hot! Festivals are a wonderful way to foster community, to showcase local business owners, and for many organization, they're an important fundraiser that helps support their work throughout the year. From Boston to Phoenix, here are four fantastic fests by BALLE members that celebrate all things local:
- Chicago's City Made Fest: Featuring beer, food, music, and art that was all made in the Windy City, put on by BALLE Champion Andersonville Chamber of Commerce and Andersonville Development Corporation
- Local First Arizona's Certified Local Fall Festival: The name says it all: it's certified local!
- Boston Local Food Festival: A huge celebration of local food that was named one of the top green events, and is produced by BALLE Champion the Sustainable Business Network of Massachusetts.
- Fork Fest: BALLE Champion Local First of West Michigan celebrates their regions's diverse local farms, beer, food, wine, and restaurants
