We are excited to convene the BALLE Leadership Network and allies from across North America to build deeper connections and a broader ecosystem of support to advance our movement.  To curate meaningful conversations and experiences, we will be hosting this intimate gathering at the beautiful Asilomar Conference Grounds in Pacific Grove, California.

  • Registration is $425 per person. (If you received a promotional code, please enter it prior to making your registration and lodging selections on the event registration page).
  • Meals and accommodations are separate (see below)
  • A pre-summit tour will be held Monday, December 5th at Paicines Ranch. Registration is $45 per person and includes transportation from Asilomar. Please see the agenda for more information.

Onsite Accommodations:
Celebrated as Monterey Peninsula’s “Refuge by the Sea,” Asilomar State Beach and Conference Grounds is a breathtakingly gorgeous 107 acres of ecologically diverse beachfront land. Your stay will include nourishing meals with locally harvested produce from organic farmers. Onsite activities include walking tours, beach volleyball, biking, hiking trails, billiards, surfing and swimming in a heated outdoor pool.  Complimentary WiFi is available in the main lobby and all guest rooms.

  • The Standard food and lodging package is 3-nights  and includes all Summit meals beginning with dinner on Monday, December 5th, and ending with breakfast on Thursday, December 8th
  • Check in is at 4:00PM and check out is by 11:00AM

Payment will be required upfront when reserving a room.  Roommates will be assigned for shared rooms according to gender preference.  You also have the option of pre-selecting your roommates, with payment requested for the total room at the time of your reservation.

  • Reservations for rooms will be available through December 1st.  Please note: there are only (80) double, (5) triple and (5) quad rooms available for this event.  If you prefer a shared room, we recommend that you make your reservations early.

While Summit activities run from Monday through Wednesday evening, we understand that your schedule may not allow for your full participation.

  • The Early Departure food and lodging package is 2-nights for guests departing early on Wednesday, December 7th, and includes meals beginning with dinner on Monday, December 5th and ending with lunch on Wednesday, December 7th
  • The Late Arrival food and lodging package is 2-nights for guests arriving on Tuesday, December 6th, and includes meals beginning with lunch on Tuesday, December 6th and ending with breakfast on Thursday, December 8th
  • Please note that triple and quad rooms are not available for shortened stays

If you are attending the pre-Summit event and would like to check into Asilomar before Monday, there is an additional Food/Lodging add-on for pre-Summit attendees option at the bottom of the event registration page.

 Summit registration cancellation and refund policy: 

  • For registration cancellations made before midnight (PST) on the evening of Sunday, November 6, 2016: You will receive a full refund of registration cost minus a processing fee of 5% of the total order
  • For cancellations made between midnight (PST) the evening of Sunday, November 6, 2016 and midnight (PST) Friday, December 2, 2016: You will receive a 50% refund of the total order
  • No refunds will be available for cancellations after midnight (PST) on Friday, December 2, 2016

Food and Lodging package cancellation and refund policy:

  • For registration cancellations made before midnight (PST) on the evening of Sunday, November 6, 2016: You will receive a full refund of registration cost minus a processing fee of 5% of the total order 
  • No refunds will be available for cancellations after midnight (PST) on the evening of Sunday, November 6, 2016
