Sarah is Executive Vice President for the Empire Health Foundation. Sarah earned her M.B.A. from Eastern Washington University, and a business degree from Western Washington University. She is passionate about finding solutions to complex social issues, and creating sustainable positive impact. Sarah has significant experience managing internal and external operations, as well as designing, implementing and evaluating programmatic initiatives. In 2014, Sarah was nominated and selected to participate in the national Terrance Keenan Institute for Emerging Leaders in Health Philanthropy through Grant Makers In Health. Sarah has experience with strategic planning and board governance, and has served on a variety of boards and committees for organizations such as the Washington State Public Health Association and Partnering for Progress, among others. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Volunteers of America and Philanthropy In Action, and is the acting Executive Director for both the Andy Hill Cancer Research Endowment and Spokane Teaching Health Center. Sarah was born and raised in Spokane, Washington, and is proud to be making a difference in her home community.
