Sarah Kinser Chief Program Officer, Arkansas Community Foundation Little Rock, AR Shift Capital | Funding/ Investment Arkansas Community Foundation engages people, connects resources, and inspires solutions to build community. Sarah oversees the Arkansas Community Foundation’s grantmaking, affiliate system, impact investing and community partnerships. Previously, she led the Foundation’s communications department, where her work has received three Prism awards from the Public Relations Society of America – Arkansas chapter. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Lambuth University in Jackson, Tenn., and a master’s degree in professional and technical writing from UALR. She earned the Accredited in Public Relations (APR) credential in 2012. Previously, she worked on the staff of the Arkansas Literary Festival and as a composition instructor at UALR. A true native Arkansan, Sarah lived in Jonesboro, Fayetteville, Conway, Benton and Prescott all before the age of 18. In addition to her work at the Community Foundation, Sarah is also a freelance writer and editor and founding member and co-chair of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network – Little Rock chapter. She is a graduate of the Southeastern Council of Foundations’ Hull Fellowship program to train the Southeast’s next generation of philanthropic leaders, and is a member of Leadership Greater Little Rock Class XXX. Arkansas Community Foundation engages people, connects resources, and inspires solutions to build community. The foundation serves the entire state of Arkansas, with a focus on 27 communities where they have affiliate offices. The foundation works with a variety of individual donors to manage charitable funds benefiting causes they (the donors) identify, and the foundation makes grants to a variety of charitable causes in Arkansas.
