Sara is growing the next generation of ecological farmers in Canada through a farmer2farmer resource network that includes an on-line engagement platform, educational events on and off farms, business mentorships, as well as land access tools and programming.

Sara Dent is the Co-Founder and B.C. Program Manager of Young Agrarians, a partnership with FarmFolk CityFolk Society located in Vancouver, B.C., Canada. Sara has a background in small-scale, ecological farming and ecological food systems planning, with 20 years experience working with a variety of arts and social change organizations. Sara has a degree in Communication Studies and Liberal Arts from Concordia University, in Montreal, Quebec. Sara has participated in a number of facilitation trainings and can teach permaculture, photograph farms, get large groups of people singing together, and working the land. Sara was born in Toronto, Ontario and currently resides on Coast Salish Territories in Vancouver, B.C.
