Richmond Memorial Health Foundation fosters an equitable and healthy Richmond region.

Matt is an investment manager, blogger, community development organizer, and nature-loving father of four. After a 15-year career as a wealth manager, he recently founded an investment management company (VestedIn) which brings together his interest in finance and the well-being of local communities. Matt is a Trustee at the Richmond Memorial Health Foundation where he serves as Vice-Chair on the investment committee. He is a Certified Financial Planner and he received his bachelors of arts and science from the University of Virginia where he double-majored in Economics and Government all while building up his delayed gratification muscles as a distance runner on the Track and Cross Country team. He is the father of three boys and a baby girl who joined the family in March and the whole family prefers pedal power transport.

Richmond Memorial Health Foundation works to address the social, economic and structural conditions that contribute to poor health outcomes. They operate with a sense of urgency and a deep commitment to long-term change, emboldened by the resilience, creativity and capacity of our communities. They nurture relationships and invest in solutions to eliminate health disparities in our region, work collaboratively as investors, conveners, learners, and network builders with our communities, and look for partners and allies who share our values and are committed to analysis, community engagement, action, impact and accountability. RCHF celebrates the diversity of their region and affirms the critical need for inclusion in decision-making and shared action that leads to improved health outcomes.

The foundation invests primarily in Chesterfield County, Goochland County, Hanover County, Henrico County, Powhatan County, and Richmond City, and considers regional and statewide investments that align with and advance their mission.
