Aubrey Abbott Patterson President & CEO, Hutchinson Community Foundation Hutchinson, KS Shift Capital | Funding/ Investment Hutchinson Community Foundation strives to inspire philanthropy, collaboration, and innovative leadership to strengthen their community. Aubrey serves as the President & CEO of Hutchinson Community Foundation in Hutchinson, Kansas. While in graduate school at the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University (formerly the Center on Philanthropy), Aubrey served as a program assistant at the Central Indiana Community Foundation where she learned the value and importance of community foundations. Prior to her graduate studies, she served as the Assistant Director of Leadership Studies & Programs at Kansas State University, her beloved alma mater. Aubrey serves or has served on the boards of the K-State Alumni Association, Hutchinson Rotary Club, Hutchinson/Reno County Chamber of Commerce, City of Hutchinson Housing Commission, the KSU School of Leadership Studies Advancement Council and the Kansas Association of Community Foundations. Aubrey co-founded YP Reno County, a group that connects and involves young professionals, and in 2012, she was named to The Hutchinson News’ “20 Under 40.” Aubrey and her husband, Lance, are raising three kids, Sadye, Lydia, and Blake. Hutchinson Community Foundation strives to inspire philanthropy, collaboration, and innovative leadership to strengthen their community. They serve the people of Reno County in South Central Kansas, where 16 percent of the population lives in poverty. For more than 25 years, Hutchinson Community Foundation has been working to multiply the impact of charitable giving by connecting community members, nonprofits, and other partners to brighten the future of Hutchinson and Reno County through philanthropy.
