Amanda supports state business networks in driving policy around worker’s rights and place-based economic development.

Amanda joined the Main Street Alliance as Director in the fall of 2013, bringing more than a decade of progressive organizing, policy, and legal experience to the position. She had previously worked as a community organizer for several international trade, media policy, and social justice organizations – including Public Citizen, Free Press, the Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy, and The Nation – crafting national grassroots mobilization and education and rapid-response strategies. She has also worked as a labor organizer and policy analyst for CWA and SEIU. Amanda graduated from Smith College and earned her law degree from the University of Washington School of Law.
