20/20 Visioning: A Zingtraining on Business Visioning
Description: The Zingerman’s Community of Businesses has taken business visioning more seriously than almost any other businesses around. Few others have more effectively and proactively cultivated ambitious and exciting visions for their companies, and actually followed them through. Zingerman’s is a powerful example of how to do it right, and we are once again fortunate to have co-founder, Paul Saginaw, doing one of his legendary trainings, perfect for all businesses, large or small.

3:30PM - 5:00PM CONVERGENCE SESSIONS (next steps to amplify this movement) - Campbell Student Union, Social Hall, Buffalo State College
Description: A new programming space for BALLE this year, our focus for this time will be to move together into convergence – that is, to explore together how we can take our collective work forward through shared and individual action. We know the Localist movement is decentralized and collectively owned. Accordingly, this is a space for conversations organized onsite during the conference and specifically during this session, by conferees, for each other to explore key “first next steps” for moving elements of our shared work forward.
BALLE will provide some simple structure for helping attendees find each other, and for capturing conversations and actions. BALLE will share these afterwards with all attendees and everyone who couldn’t join us in Buffalo to support further self-organizing. Bring your burning questions and come together to share your thinking and offer your leadership to the broader movement. Watch for more details after you register, and once you’re onsite.
